Assistant goes to Fashion Show: Philippine Fashion Week

Luckily, Im getting invites from my designer friends not because of my job. I always thought of Fashion Week as glamorous as the way NYC and Milan do. Here its well celebrated yes, but not as posh as it should be. why?

• Seating arrangements are not being followed
• Runways start late
• They don't give out loot bags, if they do, it has been snagged by your seatmate
  
  

This year I only attended the first day of the fashion week, May 26, 2009, 6:00pm at the SMX Convention. There were the SM Runway, The Marlon Rivera show and The Premier Collection A which includes Angelo Estera, Jerome Ang, Joel Escober, Randall Solomon, Raoul Ramirez and Yako Reyes. I'ts really fun to see beautiful clothes and beautiful people, make you feel almost like a model too. But when the time had come for me to see Marc Nelson with his buddy (Tisha Silang's Bf), I was just speechless and petrified. He had the perfect smile, tone and jaw. My lips didn't open for seconds and I was too late to take pictures of him. However I found this picture from http://www.runway2reality.com/ taken the same night. hay..
