The last 3 days have been traumatic for everyone and Manila has never been this unprepared for the heavy rains. Death toll increases every hour, countless missing, homes wrecked, what can we do to help? Twitter has played a big role in the rescue operation of the stranded victims. It has become the emergency hotline for those who were able to keep thier mobile phones on top of thier roofs. Different companies offered help through text messages and twits to ABS-CBN foundation and GMA Kapuso foundation. Petron gas stations are drop off points of relief goods and help. There are other means of helping, we can do our share in our own little way. More help come, more lives saved.

Remembering T.G.I.S.?

Yes, He's Bobby Andrews, a "has-been" of GMA7's defunct teen oriented TV show T.G.I.S. who paid a visit to our office yesterday. He happens to be a friend of my Boss and had to dress him up for his telenovela to be aired next week prime time. Dark colors and slim cuts were picked to match his Villain character in his show. He was nice, not the type of actor who brags about his pinoyiwood career (like he still has)or recent political aspiration. Plus his boxers are gray....

Most parties I attended start behind the scheduled time so I decided to come late last night to Garage's anniversary party at Ascend. The show was over and Piolo left a few minutes when I got there. I wanted to kill myself. I was down in dumps I had 2 cocktail drinks just to forget it. Luckily I didnt pass out and the Garage people took care of me until I got a cab going home. Sweet!

Not true! wish it was. Phil is charming with his brit accent and naughty grin plus his hair was pushed back...let me stop now. Our chat with him and Joyce was fun. These are the guys you should hang out if you're bored or you just wanna know the latest chismax or gossip girl episode. We did a couple of test shots and he changed clothes right there and then, did I say he's half naked just 12 inches away? and he smells good! Thank God he's not a Brazillian.

I remembered how hindy talks when I saw one episode of Project Runway Philippines Season 2 where she was the Guest Judge. She talks really sweet but a lil sexy. "Very New Yorker" as my Boss said. Never in my life have I seen so many almost naked men in one night. This has been one of the wishes I had when I was still in College now granted. I owe Katiekulit big time! Though the seating arrangement wasn't followed and we got ditched when we tried sitting down in the guess reserved area, it was still awesome! There were men in gladiator inspired undies, the dancers, guess clad boys, brazilian boys, there was even a guy who pulled down his undies and covered his package with just one hand, super hot! and of course the top 10 bachelors:

Stella relaunched its bi-monthly issue in Fiama with Heart Evangelista on the cover. Just like Garage Magazine, Stella is now available every 2 months, making it shelf life longer and the issue thicker. Some of the circus people from the Valentino event went straight to Fiama as well. and what is an event without the Hunky models?

As an assistant, all the event invitations and bookings go to me. I fix my Boss' schedule and choose the events to go to. Recently,Zee magazine organized a film showing event featuring the film Valentino, The Last Emperor. Though It was held in Greenbelt 1, the "outcast wing" in the area, Guests fought their way into the rainy night to see the movie. A few minutes before 6:00pm ,we arrived in the empty cocktail area. We were too early for the event since it was set Filipino time. We had dinner and went back a few minutes before seven. I saw the Villainess of Philippine Cinema Cherrie Gil in Purple Grecian dress. My jaw dropped when I saw how beautiful and young looking she was. Philippines elite designers like Pitoy Moreno graced the event. And what is an event without the circus people?

Valentino is a documentary film about his last year as the chief designer of the Valentino line.We were laughing all the time because of his "Hirits" and tantrums. A total true Diva. He has the least patience and he always gets what he wants. Unluckily Valentino line has been bought and he no longer designs for the brand. Yet the Valentino will always be remembered by the infamous "valentino red dress."

Uno magazine relaunched it 2.0 version in a black-tie event at the Mercedez-Benz Showroom. They made the magazine bigger and longer. The quality of paper was improved a well. Their cover reminded me of HE magazine because of the embossed but clear print. Its pretty eyecatching. I must say they have done a great job in rebranding the magazine. On the first 2.0 cover was the controversial Celine Lopez rising from the ashes. It's good to see her back in shape after the devastating Brian Gorrell blog bashing. She has become matured and reliving her life in a new perspective, that's what the column says. I wonder if she already ditched her knock-off birkin? :)

Black was the color of the night, well it was a black-tie event so I was expecting one would dare to wear a different color like Purple, pink or blue. Mai Kaufman was a stand out in purple. Again I have to use the word "circus". Whenever you see socialites, designers, actors and actresses trying to get the attention of the PRESS, it's always freakshow. Here, its the papparazis who are being followed. I was disappointed to know I missed one guy who attended the event, it was Rich Herrera. I din't see him, I've been wanting to see him ever since he posted nude in Cosmo Bachelors ages ago. Kelan ka kaya?

Before UNO 2.o was the regular UNO cover party in the fort strip. Not so much crowd. It was the intoduction of the new group. The relaunch will be in month after.

I heart New York City

All my favorite shows and movies have one common denominator, its all about New York City. I never get tired of watching it over and over. Somehow I can always find myself in one of the characters and actually live the life they have. Shopping for instance gives me the same feeling as Rebecca Bloomwood. Once you bought them, they're yours forever. Much like Carrie Bradshaw who can't afford to change her curtains but she has a huge wardrobe. She keeps falling inlove and gets her heart broken. And when the world turned upside down, there's one character everyone loves to play, the beautiful and nasty Blair Waldorf. Its all the drama that makes these shows interesting. A real Andy Sachs is no different. Me is never without a little drama.
